These are some of the questions that faced the audience as First Datacorp and Microsoft hosted a Breakfast Session on Microsoft Identity and Access Solutions last June 17, 2009 at the Microsoft Philippines Exchange Room, 6750 Office Tower Ayala Avenue, Makati.
Mr. Nigel Stewart, MS IDA Strategic Account Manager for Asia Pacific, discussed the challenges posed by the increased number of applications and systems leading to exponential number of identities that IT needs to manage and end-users need to use. Participants enjoyed a hearty meal and shared rich conversations with fellow IT officers and with our guest speaker on reduced costs through automation and self-service, policy-based management of identities and credentials and software resources for heterogeneous environments.
