ITIL® V3 Intermediate Level Course Offerings

As your IT Service Management Training Delivery partner, First Datacorp and ITPreneurs* are pleased to offer the ITIL® V3 Intermediate Courses. The logical next step to the ITIL V3 Foundation training, the Intermediate Level courses focus on selective subjects and help’s practitioners attain the required level of knowledge. The Intermediate Level is divided into two streams: the Lifecycle Stream and Capability Stream

  • The Lifecycle Stream: Is built around the five core Office of the Government Commerce (OGC) books, namely, Service Strategy (SS), Service Design (SD), Service Transition (ST), Service Operation (SO) and Continual Service Improvement (CSI). The courses are focused on the managing and controlling activities of the in-scope processes

  • The Capability Stream: Is built around four clusters: Planning Protection and Optimization (PPO); Service Offerings and Agreements (SOA); Release, Control and Validation (RCV) and Operational Support and Analysis (OSA). These courses are focused on the operational activities of the in-scope processes.

Both intermediate streams assess an individual’s comprehension and application of the concepts of ITIL V3. Candidates are able to take units from either of the intermediate streams, which give them credits toward the ITIL v3 Expert certificate.

To further assist individuals and organization in identifying the best ITIL training and certification path, we are also pleased to be the first to offer the detailed Role-based analysis of possible course combinations along with the associated value of this training for each role in a typical IT organization. The paths recommended will depend on factors such as an individual’s role within IT, career aspirations, previous ITIL certifications and the final certification recognition an individual wants to achieve.
