ITIL® 4 Specialist: Direct, Plan and Improve is one of the four ITIL® 4 publications, which build on the concepts introduced in ITIL® Foundation. Each of these publications focuses on a different aspect of service management.

ITIL® 4 Direct, Plan and Improve helps to align product and service management with modern business requirements; drive successful organizational transformation; and embed continual Improvement into an organization’s behavior at every level. This course will help anyone involved in planning work, improving products and managing organizational change, and those responsible with interfacing with governance, risk and compliance.


Learning Objectives

At the end of the course, participants are expected to:

  1. Understand the key concepts of Direct, Plan and Improve
  2. Understand the scope of what is to be directed and/or planned, and know how to use key principles and methods of direction and planning
  3. Understand the role of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) and know how to integrate the principles and methods into the service value system
  4. Understand and know how to use the key principles and methods of continual improvement for all types of improvements
  5. Understand and know how to use the key principles and methods of communication and organizational change management to direction, planning and improvement
  6. Understand and know how to use the key principles and methods of measurement and reporting in direction, planning and improvement
  7. Understand and know how to direct plan and improve value streams and practices

  • 40 multiple-choice questions
  • 90-minute duration
  • 28 (out of 40) required marks to pass – 70%
  • Closed book, proctored examination

Prerequisites

Candidate has obtained the ITIL® 4 Foundation certificate. A copy of the certificate must be provided upon course registration.

* Training is always provided with examination. Examination fee is included in the training fee.
* Participants will be issued a letter of training attendance at the end of the course
